The team

As Software Development Manager, you are responsible for international development within the 4PS Group. In our European Development Centre in Ede, 60 specialists are developing and maintaining our core products for our customers and international partners worldwide. Additionally, our partners and affiliated entities are responsible for the localization of the W1 version of our software. In your role, you will work closely with the Manager Development, Manager Productmanagement, Country Leads, our commercial Business Units, and support. You will report to the Director of Product and Development.

Our products

We develop software to give our customers a head start. We do this on the basis of a single standard for construction, civil engineering and installation industry. The heart of our product portfolio is based on Microsoft’s platform; Dynamics 365 Business Central. In addition, we develop apps and portals to unlock functionality and data on location where it is needed. This can be on the construction site, in a home, at the office, a warehouse, during a service job, on a project, etc. Our products are cloud-ready and are available to our customers as a SaaS service. More than 600 leading companies worldwide already build and maintain their projects with 4PS’s ERP software, portals and apps. Our Development team makes an important contribution to this and you too can make a difference.

Your role and challenges

  •  Ensuring effective cooperation and coordination between international development and operations (DevOps) teams;
  • Guaranteeing technical quality, continuity, and stability of platforms and solutions;
  • Meeting deadlines and quality standards for software delivery;
  • Implementing effective monitoring and troubleshooting processes;
  • Identifying and addressing bottlenecks in the development process;
  • Leading and managing in an international and dynamic environment;
  • Handling software development issues with strong analytical and problem-solving skills;
  • Balancing the needs of different stakeholders and cultures;
  • Overseeing the setup of (international) development teams within a matrix organization;
  • Implementing the international product strategy and securing it within the group;
  • Building and developing teams in an international context;
  • Embracing the challenge of working in an international environment and willingness to travel.
